Sponsorship

The BGC is a not-for-profit incorporated association and accordingly seeks sponsorship from interested organisations to help promote the game of go and carry on activities such as tournaments and teaching of beginners.

BGC can offer various acknowledgments depending on the level of donations. These range from a letter of appreciation to simple web thanks and banner links of various size and prominence, to appearance on an honour roll.

As Go is an important part of the culture of Japan, China and Korea, companies dealing with these countries may find it useful to have an association with the Brisbane Go Club. At higher levels of donation various services may be possible, from lending a go set to a visitor to arranging friendly matches. We could arrange lessons so your staff have a basic understanding of the game.

Advertising    

Various forms of link or banner advertising are offered. Japanese, Chinese and Korean players regularly visit Australia for friendship exchanges and tourism. Companies involved in tourism may find it worthwhile to target this market. Contact John Hardy for rates.
