67 Ipswich Rd. Woolloongabba (parking is available in the area off Wilton Street and you can enter the club by the back door at the bottom of that carpark. No parking under the building!)

Anyone can attend the Tuesday night meeting which is held at the QCBC. Please make yourself known to the club members.

If you are a beginner, usually there will be someone available to show you the game. Formal lessons are available. There are also many internet resources available for private study, a selection of which are on our Links page. The Tuesday meeting attracts 12 - 20 players of wide ranging strength.

Cost: Members $1; Non-Members $2 (subject to review)

University of Queensland: The go study group meets on St Lucia campus every Tuesday from 11:30 until oneish, in the Schonell Theatre building outside room 201. Regular players are between 5k and 3d, no cost, BYO lunch. The university gaming society has several go sets and players, meets on Monday evenings and the first Saturday of the month. All BGC members welcome to turn up and play.

Northside : 2nd Saturday of every month at 11 Parkdale Street, Kedron, 1.00pm - 5.00pm. Contact: Amelia Gray Mobile: 0438-225955

Irregular Meetings

Various irregular meetings on weekends are held on an ad hoc basis and will be shown here. Members receive email advice of such meetings. The main venues for these meetings and for our tournaments are the Queensland Contract Bridge Club (QCBC) and the Brisbane Bridge Centre (BBC).

Special Meetings

The Annual General Meeting will be held in conjunction with the Queensland Go Championships (Tournaments) on 15th March 2008 at the BBC during the lunch break.

Online Meetings

BGC Online The BGC has its own private virtual room on the Kiseido Go Server. While non - BGC members from interstate and overseas are permitted to register, it is a fairly closed group of people we know. Just send your KGS id to Jason Mackay and ask to be added to the room list. It may take a few days.
